Classes are held in my home studio in Fernleigh (2479), near Newrybar. It’s fairly central (from 10-30 mins) from Bangalow, Ballina, Byron, Mullumbimby, and Lismore. The address will be given after booking.

Parents are required to stay for children aged 4-6 years. I have an outdoor undercover seating area, or you’re welcome to relax on the lawn. For other age groups, parents are encouraged to drop-off. Nearby townships (Newrybar 5 mins, Bangalow 10 mins, Lennox 15 mins) offer cafés and shops, and the Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary in Knockrow serves delicious food and coffee.

Your children are welcome to wait but will not have access to the studio unless they need the toilet. To help maintain a calm atmosphere, I recommend bringing something quiet for them to entertain themselves.

All materials are provided, but students should come dressed for mess! An old t-shirt works fine.

As this is a private residence, I unfortunately don’t have wheelchair access at this stage.

Classes are small, with a maximum of 6-8 students per class.

Unfortunately, I don’t run additional makeup classes. If a session is missed, I will do my best to help the student catch up, but generally they will need to move forward with the group.

Yes! A 10% sibling discount is applied when payment is made for any number of siblings (term classes only).

I’ve tried to keep pricing accessible while taking into account the many costs involved with running art classes. To further that, I’m working on making Creative Kid vouchers redeemable from Term 2, and if you are a single (not co-parenting) parent or identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, you are eligible for a discounted rate (not in conjunction with other discounts). Please let me know in your email, and we’ll discuss how to proceed.

Not at all! I am happy to accommodate any child who requires an Auslan interpreter or support worker. I just ask that you notify me in advance so that I can ensure the space is set up appropriately to support your child’s needs. If you have any specific requirements or concerns, feel free to reach out ahead of time.
